Erdinger Weissbräu

4.6% ABV 10 IBU

Appearance- Straw gold in color with a strong head that keeps as you drink.

Aroma- Hit right away with a citrus note and sweetness ends with the slightest hint of hop.

Taste- Very light lemon up front with a little orange followed by the notes of banana that comes from the hefeweizen yeast.

Mouthfeel- Extremely light and crisp yet overly carbonated lots of bubbles.

Overall- This is a true German Hefeweizen and the flavours show it. Just enough hops to make it a beer but the focus is on the light and refreshing flavours. There is something about the banana notes from the yeast used on Hefeweizen’s that male me happy. This beer I would give a 2.8
